About Dr. Latin
Dr. Whitney Latin is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of
Dermatology.
Dr. Latin received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Brown University. She then earned her
medical degree from The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she received
the Deans Fellowship award and a Distinction in Community Health. After an internship in Internal
Medicine at NYU Long Island Hospital, she completed her dermatology residency at the Icahn School of
Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she served as dermatology Chief Resident.
Throughout her training, Dr. Latin has worked on a variety of research projects and has contributed to
posters and peer-reviewed publications on various dermatological conditions including psoriasis and
skin cancer.
Dr. Latin’s clinical interests include inflammatory skin diseases, acne, hair loss, and pigmentary
disorders. She seeks to improve and maintain the health and beauty of her patient’s skin and hair by
working together as partners in achieving their medical goals. Dr. Latin is a member of the Women’s
Dermatologic Society, Skin of Color Society, and American Academy of Dermatology.
Outside of work, Dr. Latin enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and baking.
